Glass with Class

How many of you wear glasses? Do you ever feel insecure about them, or just wish that you had better eyesight? Don't worry, here are some ways to feel comfortable in your glasses. You don't necessarily need contacts and you don't need to feel weird about having glasses. Here are some tips that will help you.
  Michelle Phan:
This you tuber has almost a billion views. I think that Michelle Phan has some great tips on glasses, since if you type in "michellephan glasses" on YouTube, she'll have a variety of ideas and makeup tutorials to help you out.

I found this video, and I thought that it was amazing since it proved a lot about having them. She teaches you how easy it is to wear makeup with glasses, since they can tone down some of the boldest colors. For instance, you can wear super bright colors that wouldn't look so great without your glasses.

Tips:
If you are wearing make up, add some primer to your face to prevent the glasses from smudging your makeup.

Go for a mascara that will give you a look of cleaner lashes, instead of one with drama and volume. That may cause the mascara to stick to your glasses.

Also, there aren't many disadvantages to having glasses, because I think that some glasses can really reduce the effect of dark under eye circles. However, glasses may cause sensitive skin to break out, since your skin many become irritated. Try to clean your glasses to eliminate all the dirty oils in them.

When wearing glasses, I would go simple with the lips, but if you don't want all the attention to be focusing on your eyes, a bold lip color is a great look.

Always bring a tiny eyeglasses kit with you in your bag so that you can clean them. Make sure this includes a washcloth. I would also recommend bringing any facial wipes to wipe some of the oils off your skin after Gym class. Usually, it's a good idea to bring some of the products you use with you to add some finishing touches.

I also recommend that to make sure your glasses stay in top notch quality, take care of them, and be careful with them when you are running, jogging, or doing any type of sport.

Don't be afraid to wear glasses, since they make the world so much bigger and brighter.

Too Dressy and Chic for Spring

Who doesn't like the idea of beautiful flowy dresses that are comfortable and chic, instead of those ultra tight super skinny jeans on a nice hot or warm day? Well, there are some tips and tricks when it comes to dresses, so reader, beware.

ps. I' so sorry for not posting in ages. I promise it'll be back next week!

Spring Dresses
So, the first dress incorporates somewhat of a collar. Collars were really in during the fall and winter seasons. This dress is also a lovely shade of yellow, and it has a very flowy material. I'm in love with the top because it's bejeweled and jazzed up. All the shades just compliment each other and it's gives it a glam factor. I paired this dress with a pair of Forever 21 espadrilles. I added these shoes to create a girlier look, but I also love that you can dress this up or down. I think that sandals will also go great with this outfit.

The next dress is floral, and bohemian like. I love the floral pattern since I think the colors make the dress wearable for the summer and fall. I also love how it has a lavender theme to it. Since it is strapless, I do recommend wearing a cardigan or bolero over it, to stay warm. If you want to edge the outfit up, I recommend adding a leather jacket. I chose a pair of jeweled sandals, and the detailing is stunning. This would be a great for a typical day outside, or a lunch date.

The next outfit is great for all ages, since the dress has a very unique design, and the color is bright, yet subtle. These dresses are so nice, since they are strapless, yet you can throw something over, without getting a heat stroke. So, I think the front is rather stunning, since the material is very flowy and sheer. I paired then with some printed wedges, since they bring out the color of the dress.

For a lovely vintage and modern look all in one, I chose a polka dot dress, with a collar, to emphasize a bit of fall's hit. I think the polka dots are very in this season, and the material is also very flowy, which is a plus. I think the dress has a vintage and unique scheme to it. For the shoes, I also transported a pair of oxfords into a time machine;) However, this time, I added some heals  to the oxfords, which seemed like a very popular trend in the 1940's. It gives it an effortless glam factor.

The next dress is for all of you denim lovers, who want to incorporate skinny jeans into the sun. This one has a medium wash in the upper part, and it comes to light wash in the rest of the dress. These dresses also remind me of the trends in the 1900's. It's a great classic and  chic look. To finish the outfit, I chose a pair of lace oxfords, which combine two of y favorite obsessions. I love how oxfords are sort of bold, but the lace gives it a feminine touch.

Preview Of Handbags!

It feels like Summer already where I live. With the cold winter out, why don't we celebrate! On polyvore, I found some classic, timeless, and trendy pieces I found. Spring Handbag Faves
So, in this post, I ended up finding a lot of Kate Spade bags. Kate Spade is such a revolutionary brand, and they are so creative when it comes to designing. I really love how the first handbag is classic, but with a twist. This hot pink is really bright, and it seems perfect for such a season. I think this is your everyday handbag, and you can also find these in many colors. Another thing is that the quality is exceptional, and it's basically Chanel, except Chanel is 10 times the price. I definitely recommend this handbag because it's so detailed and yet so simple.

For a lovely picnic, or a day you don't feel like carrying much, a cross body bag is at your service. I love cross body bags because you feel so free since you don't have to worry about them falling off. I chose this white studded one from juicy couture, and I think White goes great in Spring and Summer. It gives it such a heavenly feeling, and the gold really brings out the white, and these elements are perfect with each other. Spoiler alert: post on what to carry in tiny bags coming soon.....

Yet, this is another Kate Spade bag, and I love the little bows. I think bows are perfect for this season, and they just jazz everything up. However, the color blue me away! It's such a nice Robin Egg's Blue, and I absolutely love the effect of blue and gold. This bag also has an awesome structure, which is perfect if you prefer the handbags that have a bit more stage. When I first saw this, it reminded me of Prada for some strange reason.

The next bag is a beach tote, and I know it's not Summer yet, but it's hot enough sometimes(like today! It's 80 degrees where I live!) So, this one is by Juicy couture, but I love how it's not plain. Usually, I see the plain weaved ones, but this one is very creative and different. Besides who doesn't like the beach? As long as you bring sunscreen, you'll be pleased with this bag and your day!

Kate Spade, again.........So this one has a floral pattern and a solid orange. I think the colors compliment each other, since the orange is such a lively color. However, without the pattern, it would be rather plain. This also incorporates somewhat of a form of color blocking.

I also found another bow bag, and this one is more trendy than classy. This one is made out of a rather glossier material, and it is more colorful. This bag is a perfect tote, and it can also serve as a beach bag.

Like I said before, I love Juicy Couture Daydreamer Bags! I love the style and structure, and the material is to fall for. This also reminds me of the previous cross body bag, since it also has some gold hints in it. This bag is perfect for everyday use in the spring. Another thing is that the straps don't fall off, and they are especially roomy, even though they appear not. Also, the accessories on these bags are gorgeous.

Tory Burch has always been one of my favorite designers since the beginning of time. I love how classic and simple this clutch is, but it is made with such good quality. I love the deep blue, since it reminds me of the ocean, and the gold really compliments the whole clutch. I recommend adding gold to any solid colored or boring outfit, to instantly change it up.

Mulberry is quite a brand. It is successful, and expensive. However, I thought that this bag really stood out, and it has a really nice texture and lining, which makes it look like a flower. It's also a lovely pastel, and I love the way the bag closes. It also includes the iconic gold chain.

So this is part of Juicy Couture's new collection for the season. I love how this baby blue is mixed with beautiful gems, and the handle. I also love how compact it is, and it looks gorgeous for everyday wear. These light bags make a person feel so much more free!

The last bag is perfect for all occasions, as long as you don't need to pack a lot. I suggest taking this Kate Spade bag with you on a nice walk, to the beach, or around town. I love how the color pops, and it instantly puts me in a good mood. This bag is also classic, but it has a bit of a twist!

Thanks for reading my super long post, but please comment below! I know that these bags may be expensive, but I plan on a Diy for next post on a handbag! I would appreciate it if you'd comment on your favorite, since they make my day! Also, spread the word of my blog and follow!

Quick Reminder

So, you may have noticed that there have been humongus gaps between each post. Well, I have been busy with balancing schoolwork, sports, and music all together. So, my goal is to post at least 2-3 times a week. From now on, I'm trying to get back to normal, like the blogger you knew in December who posted almost everyday. Please forgive me, because I am trying my best<3

Revolutionary Style Part One

If my title brought you here, I may have exaggerated a bit. However, hold your horses because I thought of how it's Spring Time, and it's time for a change. As humans, we often feel insecure. No fear, but maybe it's time to really think about it. It's as easy as 1-2-3, and it can be a dramatic change, or a tiny one. Today, let's talk mainly on hair! (There will be many segments including all things beauty!)

Step One: Hair
So I'm that person who doesn't spend their time in the bathroom, doing their hair. Basically, all I've been really doing for the past year was get up, and brush it. I liked it, but then it got boring. So, I thought I would show you some heatless ways to jazz up your hair.

If you haven't already, buy a bottle of Argan Oil. Argan Oil preserves shine and strengthens hair, to give it a nice silky look. It makes a big difference in hair, whatever the style is. Argan oil is also a major heat tamer, and it's rather affordable. Usually, a bottle can range from a couple of dollars, to a couple of hundred. I bought the organix argan oil, and it works great after showers and in the morning. I found mine at the drugstore for $7, and they have a whole argan oil collection ranging from the oil, to shampoo and conditioner. I prefer the oil much better, since you may not get the full effect with the shampoo and conditioner.

If you don't feel like buying that, I browsed the web for some hairstyles that are quick and easy.

I found a new youtuber named evelinicutza, and she does mostly diys on fashion and beauty. I found this gorgeous hair style that was based off the runaway, and it is actually a lot simpler than you think! I recommend this hair style for longer hair. It's not time consuming, and it's super unique and you don't have to worry about it falling out of place.

If you're feeling a bit casual, but still want to look good, the bun is a simple effortless look. I found a video by bebexo. She does hair tutorials that are to die for, and I really love that she taught me how to make a sock bun, since many people can't get there hands on it. This hair style can be done with medium, or long hair.

Don't worry for you guys out there with short hair! Although nor many hair styles can be done with it(heatless), I thought of a way to jazz up hair. This could also be a way to fake a bob for the gals out there who like short hair. Bobs are a really fun way to jazz up hair, since cutting your hair is a serious commitment. I found this Rodarte hair clip that is also by evelina, and it is also runaway inspired. This clip is very stunning and it's high fashion and never goes out of style. This craft is also affordable, and many things can be found locally.

Also, if you haven't seen all the celebrities with bangs yet, here is a great way to try them out, since cutting any hair is a commitment. It's super easy and it gives you that desired look, without feeling regret, since most people want to grow out bangs. This video is by michellephan, who is based on statistics, the most famous beauty guru on youtube, and she has a very popular channel.

In the comments below, please discuss what your favorite products are! I'm hoping that I can do a future post based on your feedback! Thanks, and look out for Part Two!

Spring into the Season

I'd like to start off with the fact that I'm really sorry for not posting in such a long time. So Today, I've thought of a cute yet fun post, starring my best friend, nail polish. So Essie has been a long time favorite of mine, since they are exceptional quality and you can purchase them at so many places. I also love the creative names they've come up for the shades, and how many they are. I chose some colors that I thought were fit for Spring.Nail Polishes for Spring
The first color on the top left is simply something to adore. This color has red, orange and pink mixed up, giving it a candy apple vibe. However, the true name of the shade is hip-anema . This color is so bright and gorgeous, and it's very cheerful.

The color next to it on the right is a bubblegum pink, and it resembles a very girly pink, almost barbie like. This color reminds me of the cherry blossoms, and it's a spectacular color for the season. The colors true name is Madison Ave-Hue, which is perfect for it's New York Vibe.

If you look down to the left, you see a gorgeous pink. You may think it's the same as the one before, but it's actually different. This one makes me think about cotton candy, and it seems a couple of shades lighter than the last. I love this nail polish and it's my favorite out of the whole collection. I think this baby pink really compliments every outfit. The name of this polish is Tart Deco.

Let's skip to the blue nail polish in the blue frame. Immediately, I thought of the beach, or a nice clear blue sky. This color reminds me of the ocean because of how rich it is, and how lovely this looks on nails. It also reminds me of the sky because this brings back memories of how much I cherish good weather days. The name of this shade is avenue maintain.

Last but not least, we have a grasshopper green. This color looks great on all nails, do to how deep and rich in color it is. I also loved how gold looked so nice with it. This color can be worn any season since it also reminds me of Christmas, yet it is also wearable for spring.

I also recommend adding a base coat before you apply any nail polish. This can protect your real nails. A special treatment you can do to pamper nails is applying some olive or almond oil to them and then wash off.

Adding a top coat can secure your whole look, and prevent from cracking. Top coats also provide a nice glossy shine. If you prefer matte nails, watch this video I found. Like she said in the video, "lighting two candles with one flame". You can make use of steam, and it's more Earth Friendly and affordable.

I hope you enjoy Spring and I wish you all a HAPPY EASTER!

Spring Floral :Blogger's Spring Lookbook

When Spring arrives, so do the flowers.
Welcome Back to my blog! This is another segment of Spring Blogger's fashion by Jade and I.Today, I decided to post on floral prints, since I will die over anything like that in the store. (Literally, die over it as in throwing a tantrum) I've always thought that floral prints were a beautiful welcome message for Spring. .

For the first outfit, I chose patterns that are really appropriate, as they bring out aspects of an item. I chose a Spring Break 2013 bubblegum pink top(No idea what to do when you get to 2014) but this could act as a souvenir or remembrance of the good times.(You know what I mean?) Since the sunglasses in the outfit already have the colors inside, I decided to choose a similar pair of jeans. I love these jeans because the blue is so pretty, and I really love the flowers on them. They remind me of the cherry blossoms in Washington DC. Since I thought that yellow would give a good pop of color, I Incorporated a pair of strapped heels, and a bag. I wouldn't recommend wearing heels if you are playing sports or riding your bike outside. This outfit just reminds me of bubblegum 99.9%.
Spring Floral
The last but not least, the cute and dressy one! I love the lace top since it reminds me of a doll and the stitching is just "a-mah-zing"(just to emphasize) I love wearing tops like these because you can dress them up or down. For the pants, I chose a pair of almost tie die and ombre pants, and I just think the orange in the outfit is gorgeous. The flowers also give it a more beachy theme. For shoes, I chose a bright orange heel and to top it off, I added a quilted lace bow bag.

I hope you enjoyed this post! Enjoy Spring Break and comment below for any suggestions. Also, feel free to browse Jade's blog!

ps. My favorite nail polish is Essie's Corals Nail polish-Tart Deco
