Inspirational Quotes by Coco Chanel

A lot of things inspire me. I find that quotes that prove a point will stay in your heart forever, as a guide to your life or a phrase you live by. Today I'll be showing some quotes I found by the one and only Coco Chanel. Not only was she a fashion icon, but she seems like a very intelligent person.

So this story goes back to when I started following Forever21's Google+ page. They have a special segment called WhoSaidIt, where they would put famous quotes in and you had to figure it out. I saw this one first, and it really appealed to me.

This really proves a point where inner beauty comes into play. I think beauty comes from the inside, since everyone has a different personality and charm. It's all about the attitude, and how you think of others and yourself. Just imagine yourself without make up, jewelry, or all that other fancy stuff. If you have a true heart, you don't really need it. So, why don't we take this as a New Year's resolution and think deep.

Someone who possesses the inner beauty will have many great traits:

Accepting others for Who they are
Don't change someone else.Focus on yourself and try to not leave anyone out. Everyone in the world should be your friend, and you'll have some of your best friends. Everyone deserves respect and think about them. If you know someone who needs help, the right thing to do is to offer a helping hand. Think about how we represent the future. Last year, there was a girl in my class who needed some help in math. She never really understood concepts and she never thought about improving. Finally, one day I decided to help her with a test she had made some mistakes on. We sat outside with the math book in our laps and we went one by one through each problem. She took it a whole other way, and even the teacher was proud of her. You can make a difference in someone Else's life, even if it's the little things.

Standing up for who you Truly are
Don't let the bully push you around. When someone tries to insult you or laugh at you, don't ignore. I know parents and teachers tell you to just walk away, but that just makes the bully think that they can do it again. Don't get into a fight. Just kindly ask them to stop, or say," excuse me." Bullies are just people who need you to be the victim. Don't let anyone push you around all day. It's your job to decide on what you want to do. Elegance can come from a mentally strong personality.

Trying
Why are we here today? Many people in the past have taken care of all of these inventions and problems. However, that doesn't mean we can slack off. Why not go better for the best? If you get stuck on a homework problem, first try and then ask for an explanation or help. If you had a multiple choice answer on a test, and you were stuck, would you leave it blank or answer it? Elegance comes from attitude, not a dress.

Another Quote I found that really inspired me was this second quote.

" In order to be irreplaceable one must always be different."

Every girl is unique, and every girl's fashion tastes are different. Every girl wants to be the one who's treated like a celebrity. However, you have to realize that you have to stand out from the crowd in order to be appealing.

The best way to be different is to dress the way you want to dress, rather of what others will think of you. Sometimes, I don't like the newest fashion trends so I don't need to follow them. Maybe I like wearing white after labor day or mixing gold and silver jewelry. It's good to be a fashion rebel sometimes, as long as you are under a dress code. You can be the leader in starting a trend, because it might catch on.

I think that being different comes mainly with your ideas. We already look different, why not act different. Your a celebrity in your own world, whether you think about it or not. Everyone is special, just embrace it.

As you can tell, everyone can be who they want. No one has an advantage or disadvantage when it comes to this. A great personality is not something that money can buy. I found this quote very inspiring, and it's etched in my heart forever.

Special Thank You:)

So I've been posting a lot and I haven't had a Thank You post since October. Right Now, I'm working really hard on a post that I have jotted down many ideas on, and I can't wait until I post it. I just wanted to fill you guys in, since this post takes up a chunk of my time and I didn't want to be not posting for a long time.

This post goes out to all of you that have commented, or reading this now. I know you might not think about it like this, but a comment really makes my day. Some of them are quite flattering, and I can't find a way to thank everyone. I just feel that everyone is just too nice. Since my blog isn't one of those wildly popular ones with thousands of followers, when you comment, I'm able to go through all of them, read them, and reply. It's just a great feeling when you work so hard on a piece, and someone just puts in their thoughts or opinions. I'm also so thankful that my blog is universal, since I love checking the status and my globe. I get views all over the world, and even if it were only one from a distant country, I get really excited. The cool thing about the globe is that sometimes, when you guys are on, I can see your dot on the globe flashing with it's country, and city.

Chriselle Lim

A change in

So every fashion blog loves Macbarbie07, and I have to admit she makes awesome videos. However, I wanted to find a different youtuber, since I recently found out that many other fashion blogs were also writing about the same videos by macbarbie07.

One day, when I was on Google+, I saw that Juicy Couture had recommended this video since it had everything Juicy. So, they lured me into the trap, and here I was, watching videos. The video was California Dreaming, and I thought that it had a good point, since you could style many outfits with one piece of clothing.

Chriselle Lim has well over 300,000 subscribers and million and millions of video views. Sometimes, I find that Youtube is better than a fashion magazine.

Now, the reason I liked this video is because most people could relate to it. If you have a sister, it'll probably be very handy when it comes to sharing clothes, or if you have many different styles. I'm pretty sure no one wears the same t shirt with the same outfit. Sometimes, you just have to mix and match. I think that no one really only has one style like classic or trendy. Maybe you are classic and you like trendy sometimes, too. There are plenty of styles out there, and many await you.

Quick Post Style Profile: Miranda Kerr

The best fashion shows happen on the sidewalk of course! Miranda Kerr is a supermodel who has walked for many famous brands and is most known as a Victoria's Secret Angel. However, she could be a designer herself.

So, I thought I would show you a piece she wore on the streets of NYC.

Miranda chose a glamorous denim jacket, which many people wear regardless of the season. She wore a sheer blouse that she tucked into a classic dark navy blue skirt. I know many people wear double denim, as many celebrities do. I love how she incorporated the skirt to add a girlier look. Depending on the weather, you can wear it with tights or leggings. Miranda wears a pair of booties, which ties the outfit together. One of the main centerpieces to this outfit is the fur tote, which is a handy and chic accessory. You can't forget about the sunglasses!

Best Of 2012:)

The Final Moments of 2012 are coming to a end. The days or shall I say moments are dwindling and everyone is gluing their eyes to the TV screen at midnight. As many events, both great and breathtaking have happened, we also remember the tragedies that brought bravery. It has been a very emotional year for everyone, especially the fashion world.

I'm going to cover some topics. I'm not going deep down into beauty products.

My favorite fashion piece of all time this year was of course blazers. Mostly everyone is wearing them, due to the big hit in fall. My favorite one is from Juicy Couture. It's a gorgeous maroon blazer with detailed buttons and a crest.
I have to say that I have been getting a lot into perfume. Personally, I used to smell like the lotion I used, but I realized that there was even more to it. I love Viva La Juicy, and the smell is just to perfect to be true. I also love the bottle and the ribbon. Another perfume I have been loving is J'adore by Dior. J'adore is Dior's number one selling perfume, and I fell in love the moment I laid eyes on it.
   One thing that I was dying for was a candle, especially in the winter. I love reading books in my room, and I just wanted to make the most out of it. I was a big Yankee Candle fan, but now I love Bath and Body Works candles. I have four, but I gave one away. The scents I own are frosted cupcake, cranberry woods. and sweet pea.The scents are very creative, and they are very good quality at a great price.
   I'm not a big handbag person to admit. I mostly use my School bag, but I do love my Juicy Couture handbag. I'm not into leather or any other material, so Juicy only suits me. Juicy Couture has their legendary velour handbags made out of the softest material. I have a pink one, except it's a different style with two Scottie Dogs. The bag is also very convenient, since the pockets are easy to find and it helps you keep organized.
   Beside my Uggs, I depend on my Coach sneakers. I don't really wear my Nike's all that much since I really only wear them for gym. The only time when I'm wearing a pair of sneakers besides at school are my soccer shoes for practices. The material of these shoes are very dependable. Over Winter break, I went on vacation to South Carolina and Georgia. I was sure they were going to be worn out, but five mud puddles, four steep hills, three days at the beach, two bike rides around the resort, and a very rare case of having to walk across of a fallen tree to get to the other side of a rather muddy ditch, I'm perfectly fine. The bottoms also have the logo engraved on them.
   I know very well that I'm not old enough to drink coffee. Technically, this is a frappuccino. When I'm at the mall, I usually order a frappuccino from Starbucks, since they are so delicious. These are basically the same thing, except on the go. I don't often drink it, but it is tempting.
    I'm a skinny jeans person, since I love wearing any jeans. Sometimes, I like to go a bit casual, so I wear sweats. Sweats may seem gross and most girls only wear it during gym, but mine are quite comfortable. I bought a pair of sweatpants from hollister in Spring, and they are just to comfortable. They provide me so much warmth during soccer practices in the fall, and I consider them my top clothing item.
     Bath and Body Works is a non stop raving store. It seems like there are millions of beauty products, but my favorite are the lotions. The lotions simply all smell too good. My favorite is Paris Amour, but I also bought ten bottles of Sweet on Paris since they smell so good. I find that they are also very moisturizing.
     I'm not that girl who enjoys a tan. I'm a pale person, and I like it that way. I never liked sun burn either. Of course everyone needs sunscreen, and my favorite is by Clarins. This can also help with other things such as breakouts. I think this is very useful for the hot days.
    Since I don't buy so many make up products, I try to keep it to a minimum. I know many girls are obsessed with all that mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow, and blush. It's understandable, but it's just that people are using them at an early age. I appreciate myself for inner beauty and that's all that's important. If you have confidence, you won't need to have make up as your best friend. It's not cool to wear all that stuff. I'm not big in the lip gloss company, so I much rather prefer a basic, such as lip balm. Everyone needs lip balm, and it's often your go to product when your lips are dry. I prefer Nivea. I've tried a lot of the flavors, but the honey is my favorite.
      I've been obsessed with pink nails. I don't like hot pink or neon. I'm more of a pastel person since I love light colors. Since I also have the French White tip by Rimmel, I can experiment. I also think that the color is really classic.
   Those were just some of my favorites, but you can't forget about non beauty and fashion favorites.

What a big year for music this year, and so many new songs were released. I couldn't decide on one, so I narrowed it down to three.

I know Harry Potter did not come out this year. I love all the books and Movies, considering I read each book 50 times. I watched Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 last year, and I still love it. During Winter Break, I went to my friends house in Georgia and we watched one Harry Potter movie each night at midnight. I discovered the books two years ago, and I've never read something like it before. I was glued to the books.

The final Christmas Guide for everyone!

Santa Claus is coming to town!

Here are some gifts that the North Pole couldn't even pull off. Since the final days of Christmas are coming, I'd thought that I would do the ultimate holiday post. I know I have done numerous gift guides, but today will be the one that will cover every question and problem. So, instead of just doing lady's gifts, I will also focus on what to get for a guy. I know many of us are busy all season long, and I just wanted to post this before the last weekend before Christmas:) This will also focus mainly on accessories, not clothing.

I thought that I would get more creative with this one. For jewelry, I chose a showstopping bracelet. This bracelet includes multiple beads and I just think that this would be perfect for a party. I just love how each and every color compliments each other. Who can forget about Mickey Mouse. These are cute earrings that your friend will just die for. These are also really inexpensive, and I love the detail. Mickey mouse isn't just on TV. I always thought that Charm Bracelets were a timeless piece. You see them everywhere and it's perfect for every occasion. I personally love Juicy Couture's charm bracelets because it's really good quality. The best part is that you can keep adding charms to it!

If you have a friend who loves sports and she is really athletic, consider a cute workout bag. Duffel bags are a classic, and many professionals use them. They have many pockets that will keep everything neat and organized. However, I've never seen anything like the next bag. If you have a friend who is girly and also loves working out, they'll sure really mean it when they thank you. You can be stylish at the gym, and I love the designs. The lime green logo is splattered on the tote, which gives it a special effect. If you take a look below(sorry about the order) you'll spot some cute water bottles. Normally, most people own a plain one or a plastic bottle. Giving a water bottle is also Green and Earth friendly. I'm into anything extraordinary, and I think that words truly matter. These water bottles have cute catch phrases, and I think that they are really creative.

If you look at the nail polishes, you'll immediately realize them. I have been talking about these since the colors are gorgeous. I'm really picky when it comes to nail polishes, since most colors are really similar. I play piano, so that makes nails even more important. Essie's nail polishes come in every shade you could possibly think of. It's overwhelming when you see how many there are on the shelf at the store. I also find that Essie has great quality nail polishes. The colors aren't sheer, and they dry fast. My favorite thing is that each color has a special name.

For a handbag, I found something that I've spotted everywhere. Longchamp handbags are really useful. I see them mostly at the airport, since they are handy. I have one, and I have a size small. It's surprising to find that it can fit so much on the inside. Another great thing is that you can fold them up so small so it's great for the traveler. These bags are rather expensive($125) but I think that they are worth it.

These days, many of us are spending time on the Internet, as you are if you are checking out my blog. It's amazing to see how much technology we have and how much we are improving. I also know that many of us love music. No one likes the silence, so treat yourself to some music. I have the exact headphones at home, and the sound is great. It's a simple design, but I can promise you that the sound is crystal clear. I usually use these when I'm riding the school bus, and it helps the time past buy so quick. Along with all the technology, I thought about how everyone loves apple. Surely, when an iPhone comes out, we all rush to get it. However, does an i phone really look good all buy itself. A phone case not only looks cute, but it also protects it when we once in awhile, drop it. I think the first one has a great message, since it proves that"happy girls are the prettiest girls". I thought that this was a very unique catch phrase, and it might prevent people from becoming so negative. When I took a look at the second case, I was about to gobble it up. Moving on with every girl's essential. Personally, I'm not a big perfume fan since some are super strong and I'm really picky. However, every once in awhile, I find myself smelling the perfumes at Sephora. I know everyone's favorite is Taylor Swift's wonderstruck one and two. I'm quite fond of these since they smell like magic. I'm into fruity and sweet scents, and this one just really stood out to me. These are not all that expensive, and this is perfect for that Taylor Swift fan of yours.

Last but not least, we cannot forget about the ultimate gift. Friendship bracelets are perfect for a friend(of course). I like how it all turns out in the end, and I think gifts from the heart are the best. The bracelet shone is $10, but I thought why not make it myself. If you went to Summer Camp, you'll probably have some experience.

If you want to get an awesome gift for that dad of yours, give him a mug. Usually, I buy one, but you can make it special by taking a pottery class yourself! It's a great way to customize a gift, and it's definitely a gift from the heart. Here's a tutorial on how to make one:)

All you really need to do is go to a local craftstore and buy a plain white mug if you don't feel like making one out of clay yourself. I can't really teach you how to make it out of clay, but the mug above shows you how to do it the easy way. Mustaches are one of the cutest icons right now, and you can also make many other designs!

Everyone loves chocolate right? I have a sweet tooth and I think that I'll never lose it. I love Godiva Chocolates, and the assortment is endless. You can buy a box that is already put together, or you can put one together yourself at the store. Perfect for a family member or friend!

Another gift that is perfect for him is anything related to electronics. Most girls focus their gifts with clothes or other accessories, but boys just prefer technology. The headphones that I recommended for girls, can also be converted to a guy version. You can choose a color that fits him, and depending on who, you can choose the brand. I know many guys prefer beatsbydrdre.com(Beats By Dr. Dre)However, these headphones are a bit expensive( $200 to $300). I know that other brands such as iluv.com has great deals.

I thought that this was a really creative video since this you tuber found a unique way to wrap instead of the usual. I'm sure that these will look great under the tree.

Another way to jazz up a present is a card. I don't think you necessarily need to buy one. A homemade card actually shows more love since I think that it's one of a kind.

Juicy up your Christmas!

Who doesn't like Juicy Couture? This is a designer to definitely look for. Keep in mind, this is a designer brand. However, here are some holiday gift ideas that I found that are rather affordable.

For the tech girls you know, you can't go wrong with a Juicy phone case. This brand has a perfect blend of what girls want and fun. I love how almost everything has sequins or includes lots of decoration. These cases are gorgeous, and I love the third one. Ombre looks go from light to dark, and it's a really cool design effect. Also, if that girl owns an Ipad, I recommend these fabulous cases. The first one is a sleeve, and the second one is a hard shell blue case. The Iphone cases are only$15, and the Ipad cases are around $30.

Juicy has some great perfumes, and I find the smells quite pleasant. Viva La Juicy is a really popular one, and it smells just great. I can't describe it, but you can trust me on this one. Viva La Juicy comes in many sizes. Usually, if you want a full size, it's around $90, which is quite expensive. It comes with lotion and other things. I recommend it for a close friend if you are planning on buying this. Small ones are really inexpensive, as some are $30. If you have a friend that doesn't like so much perfume and she usually doesn't use it often, try the roller ball ones. These apply really easily and they are perfect if they like to travel since they are in travel size.

When you buy clothes for a friend, make sure you know her size. I usually don't prefer getting clothes for others unless I know them really well. The first is an awesome hoodie that I mentioned before. Usually, Juicy hoodies cost about $100+. However, this is part of the holiday collection and it's only $50. I really like this one because it includes faux fur, so it's really chic. The material is velour and it's so soft. I love this material because it makes that jacket stand out form the rest. This jacket comes in many more other colors. I also have a tshirt I recommend getting since it's also part of the Christmas collection. This Tshirt cost $20, and it makes a great present. A regular tshirt cost $60, and I love this design. The moment they see it, they'll remember you gave it.

I love Juicy Couture Jewelry. They have these charm bracelets, but they were rather expensive. In stead, I found some other jewelry! The first one is considered an accessory, since it is a key chain. I have one of these myself, and the quality is really good. This is really inexpensive, and it'll look good on anything! The next item I chose is a toggle bracelet. It says these bracelets are $50 on polyvore, but I recently saw an ad by Juicy stating that it was $27. This is adorable and it comes in many gorgeous colors. The details make a big difference in their jewelry!
