Oh So Beanie: #1

Kickoff of countdown to Christmas!
Today is officially the first day of December, which means we are starting my new segment! This segment is all about the holidays, mostly Christmas and other holidays. However, this segment will really be fun fashion wise, and it will include lots of crafts and baking. I know that this is a fashion blog, but this is an exception!

As you can see, I thought of the perfect idea. Beanies are a really great present and they are also fashionable. It's a great way to cover up for a bad hair day, or if you just want to add an accessory to your outfit. It's definitely something that you want under the tree. Also, I know that many people donate them to the newborn babies at the hospital.

Beanies come in many varieties and colors. I love beanies because sometimes, you'll find cute ones, such as cupcake inspired ones. As much as I love buying them, I also like to make my own.

Beanies are very inexpensive to make, and it's a great rainy day activity. It's simple and you'll be amazed at how it looks like.

What you will need:
1) A knitting loom of your choice and size
I bought mine at walmart for 15 dollars. It comes with 4 of them in different sizes.
2) Yarn, in the color of your choice
3) a hook(usually comes in a set with the looms)
4)patience!

Note, this is for a baby's hat. In my set, I used the second to Biggest loom to knit an regular adult sized one. This is a simple hat, but if you are a beginner, I suggest you try this first. Experiment with different colored yarn to make it fancier!

Recreating Taylor Swift's looks

Hello guys! Today, I thought of recreating some of Taylor Swift's looks.

So most celebrities wear outfits that are super high end and they cost you a fortune. Most people want to look like them, but they think that they have to get the same things as them. However, many things can be found in your closet.

To me, recreating means turning someone else's style into my own. Sometimes it can't be the same, but I know that it still looks great. Don't worry, because the clothes here are super inexpensive and affordable.

For the first outfit, Taylor wears a very chic white blouse. Recently, blouses are very in and they go great with almost everything. I found one, just as good, for $13 at H M. Personally, I think that H M has great quality clothes for low prices. For the pants, Taylor sports some light brown pants with detailing on the bottom. Most of the pants that had the detailing at the bottom were really expensive and if I included that, it wouldn't be recreating it at all. Instead, I substituted a pair of creamy vanilla colored ones, that looked just as good. They are only $32 so that is very affordable and I think they still look gorgeous. For the shoes, Taylor wears some maroon colored flats. I really like this color because it ties the whole outfit together and it's a brilliant shade of dark red. I chose high heels though, since I thought that looked great too.For the purse, I chose one that looked very similar to Taylor's. If you take a peek to the second outfit, Taylor is also holding a brown bag. From recent Photos, she has been wearing a lot of brown. However, I think that brown handbags are very in this fall, so you should definitely check it out. And if you want, add some accessories!

For the next outfit, Taylor wears a polka dot top. The top is really pretty and it adds some fun to your outfit. Instead Of choosing a more loose type of long sleeve top, I chose a short sleeve one. This shirt is really short, and you can consider that a crop top, so I recommend wearing something inside. For the pants, Taylor chose some red ones. Taylor has been wearing a lot of red recently( her new album) I chose a very similar pair, and I think that black and red go well together especially for this season. For the shoes, I chose these high heeled black pumps, since they are very chic and classy. Recently, I've really been into satchels, and I'm so glad that Taylor wore one for this outfit. The brown, yet again, still looks gorgeous with this outfit.

four fantastic outfit ideas

Hi guys! So, I've come up with a great look, and a neater one. If you ever get stuck in the closet, wondering what to where, here is a solution.

Above, I have 4 outfits that really catch people's eyes. For the first one, I chose a studded top, since it gives it an edgy look. I paired them with blue tie dye skinny jeans, since tie dye really gives a unique look. If you ever feel that your jeans are too plain, I recommend these jeans. However, the most exciting part of this look are the shoes. These look really unique, and I think the color looks gorgeous. It has lots of chains and gold studs, so it ties the outfit together. The purse, really matches the outfit since I really like the shape. It's more of a hobo bag, but I really like it because of the gold chains. Now, to finish the outfit off, a nice polka dot scarf will do.

For the next outfit, I chose a nice peace sign shirt, and the cool thing is that it's lower in the front and longer in the back. For the jeans, I chose camouflage because I think the colors really compliment each other. I really like jeans with unique patterns on them and I encourage you to try it. For the shoes, I chose a vanilla boot. I really like lace up boots because they give it more attitude and style. I added a vanilla colored purse since it really matches the outfit. To finish the outfit off, I added a knit beanie. Knit beanies are really in this fall, since it adds a girly look to this outfit.

The next outfit really brings out the color black, since many people are afraid to wear it. For the top, I chose a beautiful black lace top, since I love lace. Another thing that I like is that the lace is on the neckline. If you already have lace there, you don't really have to wear any jewelry. For the pants, I chose black and white ones, since I didn't want it to be entirely black. Also, I don't see many jeans like these around, so they are pretty special. For the boots, I thought that grey would really compliment this look, and the shoes have studs on them. For the purse, I chose a cross body one, but it still looks good. I like that this purse has a golden touch to it, because gold brings out many colors. To tie the outfit together, add a black bow to your hair.

For the last outfit, I chose a blue lace peplum shirt, and the color really looks good. I really like the lace and you don't need to add jewelry. For the pants, it really reminds me of a bubble gum pink, since the color is really bright. For the shoes, I chose lace up black boots, with pink print on the bottom. It really looks like something you would see on a celebrity. For the shoes, I chose a very beautiful blue bow purse. I think that the color really compliments top, and the big bow on the purse gives it extra dazzle. Finish it off with a white crystal bow.
